Best Tip for Shaving from Mates

Phillip Bryant-Smith is a keen and active member of Mates Morning Tea.
He is well known for his active memory which allows for intriguing storytelling about his adventures travelling. Even back in the day, whilst other children enjoyed kids’ books, Phil spent his childhood reading through the whole set of Encyclopedia Brittanica including the nine yearly annuals, progressing onto a whole set of World Book Encyclopedias including the 15 yearly annual volumes!

Wild trip to Albury

Phil has been in Albury since 2015. Moving to Albury from Wentworth Falls in the Blue Mountains was one of extremes. His wife Debbie had arrived the day before and Phil was driving down on his own. He chose the Midland Highway through Bathurst – it was July.To his shock, when he reached Yetholme, the temperature had reached minus 11 OC and there was a thick blanket of snow everywhere. He couldn’t see where the road went but noticed two tire tracks through the snow. Bravely he took this as a sign to go forward and deeply hoped he was on the right side of the road. By the time he reached Kelso, 21 km away, it was sunshine and the Elvis Presley statue outside one of the stores looked happy about it as he drove through.

The rest of the trip was thankfully problem free. All their possessions arrived packed into 84 boxes, each labelled with the room in which they were to be placed. To Phil’s shock, he arrived at his new home to find that the changeover of truck drivers had ruined all the fine communication that had happened. Every box had been stacked tightly into their new garage. Though this was a huge disappointment, Phil was relieved at the timing of his trip to Albury. Back at Bathurst, overnight the weather had turned cold, and snow fell extensively from Mount Victoria to Bathurst to Blamey. Both the highway and the railway were closed for 10 days.

Best Tip for Shaving – Here’s Phil BEST TIP for using his favourite hand sanitising product.
Palmolive FOAM Hand Sanitiser is great for shaving!
“It’s smooth and smells great for anyone who shaves – legs or faces. It gives the best shave ever,” says Phil.
