Calligraphy Classes with Alison

Join Alison, a seasoned calligraphy tutor with over 30 years of experience, for engaging calligraphy classes. Learn the fundamental styles of Foundational, Uncial, Italic, and Gothic hands, as well as basic Roman capitals and Versals.

Materials List for Beginner Calligraphy Class:

• 4mm (4.0) felt-tipped calligraphy pen (available at Officeworks)
• One 'HB' pencil, sharpened
• Two 'B' pencils (same brand, same length, sharpened)
• Two rubber bands – smaller size is best
• Eraser
• Ruler
• Ordinary photocopy paper, at least 6 sheets to start with
• Notebook – to keep record of class information, homework, ideas, etc.

The classes run for 5 weeks at a cost of $20 per class.
